Data Collected for Online Features

Personal info

Email address, display name, account identifiers.

Purpose: account management, authentication, player identity.

User IDs

Firebase identity, backend user ID, lobby/match participant IDs.

Purpose: online play, reconnects, fair-play state, account safety.

App activity

Lobby joins, match actions, turns, dice rolls, moves, captures, auto-play, results.

Purpose: provide online gameplay and synchronized match state.

Messages

Online match chat and safety/moderation reports where available.

Purpose: multiplayer communication, support, abuse prevention.

Diagnostics

Server logs, error events, timestamps, IP address, device/network metadata.

Purpose: security, reliability, debugging, abuse prevention.

Data Not Required for Normal Gameplay

Hew does not require contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos, videos, SMS, phone number, payment card data, health data, or calendar access for normal gameplay.

Sharing

Hew does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers used for authentication, backend hosting, database, monitoring, security, or support. These providers are used to operate the service described in the Privacy Policy.

Security and Deletion

Production online services should use encrypted transport, authenticated requests, and access-controlled backend systems. Players can request account deletion through the Account Deletion page.
